A not-for-profit entity comprising of Leesburg Regional Medical Center and The Villages Regional Hospital, the Alliance is receiving high marks across the board, from its premier care to its exceptional working environment. Just this year, Leesburg Regional Medical Center earned a Hospital of Choice Award from the American Alliance of Healthcare Providers for the third consecutive year. Servicing Lake, Sumter and Marion counties, The Villages Regional Hospital received the 2007 CareScience Award, recognizing patient care excellence. The Alliance is earning honors as one of the region’s top employers. AARP recently named the system 12th in the nation for workers over 50 and the Orlando Sentinel honored it as the #1 company for working families.
