Currently, more than 200 physicians serve patients from Lake, Sumter and South Marion counties in a welcoming environment in which patients and their loved ones are accommodated with a dual focus on medical healing and patient comfort.

The Villages Regional Hospital recently completed a $65 million expansion which tripled the number of beds from 60 to 198, adding three more floors to the hospital, including an expansion of cardiac services from LRMC to create The Villages’ first, hospital-based cardiac catheterization suites. Our medical staff which represents more than 30 specialties, have continually advance their skills and expertise to raise the level of excellence of many of our programs.
