Cancer Care Services
Inpatient Oncology Unit
Many people whose world has been shaken by a diagnosis of cancer are seeking an approach to healing which is sensitive to their other needs as a whole person – needs of the mind, heart and spirit.
This is the foundation on which the Alliance has built its inpatient cancer center consisting of 12 patient rooms located on the 4 southwest wing of Leesburg Regional Medical Center. With private rooms to maximize patient comfort and encourage family involvement, medical oncology patients receive unique and specialized care delivered by medical and radiation oncology physicians, oncology nurses, outstanding community physicians, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team. Recognizing the complex needs of cancer patients and their families, Alliance Cancer Care Services requires an Oncology Certified Nurse to serve in the role of Nurse Manager.
The Oncology Unit at Leesburg Regional provides quality medical and surgical care in an environment of healthcare excellence and caring.
Alliance Cancer Care Services includes:
- Board certified oncologists, hematologists, radiation oncologists, and general surgeons
- JCAHO Accreditation
- American College of Surgeons – Commission on Cancer Accredited with Commendation
- Dedicated 12-bed Inpatient Unit with private rooms
- Outpatient Infusion Center
- State-of-the-art diagnostic technology including PET/CT
