Feel Inner Peace While We Take An Inner Look

We are pleased to introduce one of the country and world’s first Phillip’s Ambient Experience Catheter Lab designed to provide a significantly improved experience for patients who undergo heart catheter procedures.

In the Ambient Experience lab, patients can select scenes that are projected on the ceiling while they recline on the table during procedures. Some of the images patients can select include scenes from the beach, images of underwater sea life, and a European countryside.

These images are combined with coordinated sounds and also special lighting that provides soft, soothing changes to room color. An empowering and relaxing experience for patients needing heart catheterizations thanks to unique lighting, room design, audio, and image choices.

Developed by Philips Medical Systems, the Ambient Experience room is specially designed and engineered to improve the working environment for clinical staff and patients with special attention to lighting, workflow and patient comfort. The design helps reduce clutter which can impede workflow and contribute to patient anxiety.
