Home Health Services

LRMC Home Health Services recently celebrated its 20th anniversary of service to the community. It was established to meet the needs of persons who require special medical care, but don’t need the full services of a hospital.

Home Health Services works with hospital discharge planners and physicians to provide patients the care they need in the comfort of their own homes. A variety of in-home services are offered, including daily and intermittent skilled nursing care by registered nurses, physical and occupational therapy performed by licensed therapists, and a variety of other services including cardiac home care, speech therapy, medical social services and home health aide services for exercise and grooming assistance. We also provide IV therapy, wound care, assessments and blood draws.

Home Health Services has offices in Leesburg and The Villages. All care is physician supervised, and most services are approved for Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance reimbursement.

Homebound, ordered by Florida licensed physician and/or intermittent skilled nursing or therapy services.
