It’s Good For You!

 

Volunteers are people of diverse ages and from various walks of life. They enjoy being of service, helping others and meeting new friends. Central Florida Health Alliance offers more than 20 difference areas where volunteers may serve in our hospitals, Leesburg Regional Medical Center and The Villages Regional Hospital.

 

Our hospital volunteers add an extra dimension to our patient care. They perform a variety of activities within the hospital to enhance the care such as delivering newspapers, flowers and mail to patients. Volunteers also greet family and friends, lend a helping hand and assist guests to find the location they are looking for.

 

How Do I Get Involved?

To become part of this wonderful service and to brighten someone’s day, a volunteer will need to do the following:

Central Florida Health Alliance volunteers are greatly appreciated an receive many benefits such as discounts in the gift shop(s), service pins and/or awards for hours served, free meals in the hospital cafeteria(s) and special banquets.
