Donor of the Month
The UF Health Leesburg Hospital Foundation is pleased to introduce its June 2022 Donor of the Month, Rick Fetty. The Charleston, WV native attended Charleston High School and Morris Memorial Methodist Church. Mr. Fetty moved to Columbus, OH where he worked at Huntington Bank and became an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. He then spent four years coaching girls softball at Seminole State College and later coached at Lake-Sumter State College as well as Mount Dora High School. Mr. Fetty served six years in the U.S. Army Reserves, completing his basic training at Ft. Leonardwood, MO and Company D second Battalion, second Brigade at the U.S. Army Training Center. In 2001, he was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis even though he had never smoked.
Mr. Fetty is a caring individual whose generous gift to the UF Leesburg Hospital Foundation will benefit the Respiratory Therapy Department at UF Health Leesburg Hospital.
